- This strategic leadership position is crucial to driving our company's growth initiatives and forging key partnerships within the fintech ecosystem.
- With the launch of our new Mobile Financial Services application and as it continues to evolve and expand, we are presented with new opportunities, particularly within the public sector and the B2B segment.
- The Head of Growth and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in capitalizing on these opportunities by developing and implementing comprehensive growth strategies.
- This includes enhancing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, as well as expanding our market presence through strategic alliances that leverages our established technology competencies even as he helps to make it more robust.
His responsibilities within Fortis will be;
- Strategic Growth Leadership: Crafting and executing growth strategies that align with our long-term objectives and market opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key players in the fintech ecosystem, including government bodies, NGOs, financial institutions, and technology providers.
- Market Expansion: Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for both vertical and horizontal market expansion.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensuring cohesive and effective execution of growth strategies across product, marketing, and technology teams.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Promoting a data-driven culture and overseeing the implementation of analytics systems to inform strategic decisions.
- Industry Representation: Enhancing our visibility and reputation in the fintech sector through active participation in industry forums and events.

Requirements
- BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or Master's degree is an added advantage
- A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience with corporate strategy or planning, within a consulting firm or in the industry
- Experience with market entry strategy, market monitoring and analysis, corporate planning, business model development
- Strong understanding of complex business models and their tradeoffs to use as insight in shaping LoB’s long-term business model across different products
- Outstanding communication in all forms: verbal, concise effective writing, powerful presentations and sharp negotiation skills
- Data-driven and automation-centric mindset to make key business decisions through critical thinking and in-depth analysis
- Strong active tech industry network ranging from startups to established brands
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and business judgment
- Strategic thinker, who can consider strategic and tactical levels simultaneously to propose and build plans
