Kaplen International Community School is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School and Early Years Teachers to join our team for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the educational and emotional growth of our students. The role requires collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with parents and students to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet state and district standards.


• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.


• Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and adjust instructional strategies as needed.


• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.


• Manage classroom behavior and implement effective disciplinary procedures.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.


• Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan and integrate cross-curricular activities and initiatives.


• Adhere to school policies and procedures, including scheduling and administrative tasks.

Requirements

Education and Certification:

• NCE/ Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (required).


• TRCN certificate is an added advantage

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience.


• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and implement differentiated instruction.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to adapt to varying tasks and classroom situations with flexibility.


• Proficient in using educational technology and tools.
