 The Junior Logistics Officer will assist in managing the day-to-day logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with various departments, handling documentation, and supporting the logistics team to maintain high operational standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordination and Communication:

• Assist in coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.


• Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., sales, production) to align logistics activities with company goals.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and manage documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.


• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and activities.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels.


• Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.

Process Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and suggest solutions.

Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Knowledge of logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) is a plus.


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Assist in implementing new logistics strategies and technologies.
