Position Summary:



  • We are seeking a proficient Architect/Builder with robust Project Management skills to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will be adept at architectural design, construction oversight, and project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

  • This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and guiding projects from concept to completion.


Requirements:



  • HND or university degree in Architecture, Building or Project Management.

  • Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in building project management.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering building projects.

  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, and materials.

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other architectural design software.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Additional Requirements:



  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.

  • A portfolio demonstrating successful project management.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.


Key Responsibilities:


Architectural Design:



  • Develop comprehensive designs and plans tailored to project requirements and client specifications.

  • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce detailed building plans and blueprints.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects, ensuring they meet predefined scope, quality, and budget constraints.

  • Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and oversee their implementation.

  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resolve issues promptly.

  • Monitor and manage project progress, conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

  • Implement risk management strategies to anticipate potential issues and develop mitigation plans.


Construction Oversight:



  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations.

  • Review and approve project-related documents, including contracts, change orders, and invoices.

  • Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients, contractors, and the superior managers.


Client Collaboration:



  • Engage with clients to understand their vision, needs, and expectations.

  • Present project proposals, progress updates, and design solutions, making adjustments based on client feedback.

  • Provide expert advice on design, materials, and construction techniques to optimize project outcomes.


Documentation and Reporting:



  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design drawings, project plans, and progress reports.

  • Prepare regular status reports for internal and client review, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues
