Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage salon inventory, including beauty products, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet salon needs without excess or shortage.
Stock Ordering:
- Place orders for products and supplies based on inventory levels and anticipated needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure they match orders and are free from damage.
- Handle discrepancies or issues with suppliers as needed.
Storage and Organization:
- Organize and store products and supplies in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure that items are easily accessible and stored according to safety regulations.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status and usage.
Product Rotation:
- Implement and monitor product rotation to ensure that older items are used first and that no products expire or become obsolete.
Assisting Staff:
- Support salon staff with inventory-related needs, such as providing products for services, tracking down specific items, or organizing supplies.
Qualification:
- Must have at least 2 years prior experience in a salon or a beauty industry.
- Must have ND/HND in any related course
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of beauty products and supplies is helpful. Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is a plus.
