- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including light meals, snacks, and beverages, tailored to clients’ preferences.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
Menu Design:
- Develop and design a menu that complements the salon’s ambiance and client preferences.
- Consider options that cater to dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients.
Kitchen Management:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and clean-up.
- Manage kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
Client and Staff Service:
- Provide high-quality service to salon clients and staff.
- Create a welcoming environment through food presentation and service.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and proper storage of food items.
Inventory and Ordering:
- Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Order necessary items and maintain stock levels to prevent shortages.
Cost Control:
- Assist in budgeting and controlling food costs.
- Monitor waste and implement practices to optimize resource use.
Qualification:
- At least 3 years proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Experience in a small-scale or specialty kitchen setting is preferred.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on high-quality, creative food preparation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
