Job Summary

• The Operations Assistant will support the operations team in various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of our business activities.


• The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Track and manage inventory levels of feed, medications, and other supplies. Ensure timely reordering to avoid shortages.


• Supply Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of essential supplies and equipment.


• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of poultry production, including growth rates, mortality rates, feed consumption, and health treatments.


• Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing production data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.


• Biosecurity Measures: Implement and monitor biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks on all farms.


• Health Monitoring: Assist in planning and scheduling medications and vaccinations as needed. Monitor for signs of illness or distress in poultry.


• Housekeeping: Ensure proper monitoring of office and poultry houses and surrounding areas are clean and well-maintained. Oversee regular cleaning and disinfection protocols.


• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and repair of office and farm equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition


• Adhere to Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and standards, including animal welfare and environmental guidelines.


• Documentation: Maintain necessary documentation and records required for compliance audits and inspections.
