- An OMR must be able to handle daily retails sales with high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Must poses the physical agility to drive secondary sales distributing different SKUs from the distributors shop to the retail and whole sale outlets.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
- Maximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
- Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory with the ASM
- Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
- Remain up to date with industry’s best practices.
- Daily sales and distribution reports.
Qualifications
- Education Required: SSCE, Trade Test, OND.
Experience:
- Minimum Working Experience: Relevant years of experience in retailing and distribution.
Requirements, Skills & Attitude:
- Candidate must live very close to the location applying for.
- Proven working experience in open market sales.
- Physically fit and healthy.
- Up-to-date with the latest FMCG trends and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.
- Working Days: (Monday to Saturday).
Salary
N65,000 monthly.
