Job Description

• We are looking for a Backend Web Developer who has a passion for web development.


• He/She should be able to work closely with front-end web developers to provide necessary server-side logic for web apps and also have a basic understanding of front-end development.


• He/She should have the ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing website and application requirements.


• Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.


• Developing back-end portals with an optimized database.


• Troubleshooting application and code issues.


• Integrating data storage solutions.


• Responding to integration requests from front-end developers.


• Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.


• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.

Qualification and Skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering and other related fields.


• Minimum of one year of experience in Backend Web Development.


• Good knowledge and intermediate skills in PHP (laravel) & Javascript (node, express).


• Intermediate skills in databases like MySQL(MariaDB), MongoDB and PostgreSQL for storing information of web apps.


• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.


• Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.


• Previous experience creating scalable applications.


• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.


• Good problem-solving skills.
