Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence in industrial automation

  • Maintains sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with market supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.

  • Coordinates order service by directing account representatives and executives on quotations, proposals, project order management techniques, and customer complaint resolution.

  • Consult with clients to understand their automation needs and recommend tailored solutions that align with their operational goals.

  • Collaborate closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that showcase our automation capabilities and value proposition.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring terms meet both client expectations and company profitability objectives.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and quarterly sales target and KPI target are met.

  • Utilize leadership and management sales skills to promote sales culture and accountability by setting a high standard of sales and service and effectively and consistently coaching and training individual team members.

  • Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in industrial automation sales.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex automation solutions.

  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Proficient in using ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
