Overview



  • If building infrastructure for hundreds of businesses in Africa excites you, this role is for you.

  • We are looking for a Project Manager who will manage the organization of key projects and drive the business strategy of the organization.

  • He/ She will be responsible for overseeing and managing all projects ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion.


Responsibilities

Every day, you will:



  • Develop project plans capturing key developments, activities and manage project plans for all projects.

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives

  • Coordinate and assess all projects company-wide and ensure that all teams are on track with project schedules

  • Coordinate with project team members to ensure synergy, identify and resolve issues.

  • Report and escalate issues that will delay the progress of projects to management in a timely manner

  • Provide and prepare status reports on projects on a regular basis to management and the company on strategy, adjustments, and progress on all projects

  • Measure project performance using project management systems and tools.


Requirements

You would be great for this role if you have:



  • Minimum of 5 Years of Project Management experience in the tech space.

  • Solid understanding of software development life-cycle best practices

  • An ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • A problem-solving, analytical mindset and strong decision-making capabilities

  • The ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients

  • Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence

  • Ability to plan a project and see it through to completion.

  • Great organization skills and attention to detail.

  • We have an office in Lagos. However, we currently work remotely, though once in a while there might be a need for physical presence.

  • You will work in very high-impact areas and collaborating with your team is of utmost importance to drive alignment.

  • You find excuses for why you can’t get something done. While we understand that there’s a possibility that your skill level may not be as advanced, “not possible” is not a reply we want to hear.
