Job Description

• The Product Manager will beresponsible forproduct planning, execution and product positioning. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with IT engineering, to deliver winning products.


• It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy and roadmap for the financial institution


• Deliver Market Required Data(MRD)and Product Required Data (PRD)with prioritized features and corresponding justification that will position the company amongst competitors.


• collaborate with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities


• Develop the core product positioning and messaging for the product forecast and set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goal.


• Develop sales tools and collateral while delivering a monthly revenue forecast.


• Propose an overall budget to ensure success.


• Be a leader who can guide teams to understand the process and communicate features to other users.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from a reputable University.


• Past records of successfully defining, creating and launching excellent products


• 3 years of building scalable & high audience engagement/retention-based consumer-facing products in emerging markets;


• Prior experience in similar industry or other financial service provider.


• Prior experience building mobile-first Neobanks and/or Fintech products lending, savings, payments, investments, insurance & remittance);


• Prior experience working on AI projects and should possess AI skills including


• Knowledge of programming languages (python, R, Java, Linear algebra and statistics, Signal processing techniques and Neural network architectures


• Creative problem solver mindset with a data-driven and KPI-oriented approach using such tools as SQL, Python and Excel;


• Hungry to stay up to date with regards to the latest developments in the Nigerian FinTech and regulatory landscape;


• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Salary

N200,000 - N500,000 monthly.
