Job Overview

• The Electro-Technical Technician is responsible for maintaining low voltage circuits and performing basic electrical operations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical systems within the mining facility.


• The ideal candidate will have experience working with low voltage systems, hold a low-voltage electrician's license, and have prior experience working in a Chinese company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on low voltage circuits and electrical systems.


• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.


• Repair and replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.


• Install new low voltage electrical systems and components as required.


• Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to electrical maintenance and safety.


• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and installations.


• Report any major issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Preferred candidate should be within the age range of 25-40 years old.


• Degree in Engineering or any related field


• 2 - 5 years work experience.


• Experience working in a Chinese company is an added advantage.


• Should have Low-voltage electrician's license.


• Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems.


• Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.
