The Electro-Technical Technician is responsible for maintaining low voltage circuits and performing basic electrical operations to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical systems within the mining facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with low voltage systems, hold a low-voltage electrician's license, and have prior experience working in a Chinese company.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on low voltage circuits and electrical systems.
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
Repair and replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Install new low voltage electrical systems and components as required.
Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to electrical maintenance and safety.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
Report any major issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
Preferred candidate should be within the age range of 25-40 years old.
Degree in Engineering or any related field
2 - 5 years work experience.
Experience working in a Chinese company is an added advantage.
Should have Low-voltage electrician's license.
Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems.
Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
