Job Overview

• The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality of construction work at our mining site.


• This role involves assigning tasks to staff, supervising their work to ensure it is completed according to plan, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


• The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and possess strong management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee all construction activities on-site to ensure quality and adherence to plans and specifications.


• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and ensure that construction work meets company standards and regulatory requirements.


• Address any issues or discrepancies in construction work promptly and effectively.


• Assign tasks to construction staff and subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to schedule.


• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.


• Maintain an organized and efficient work environment by managing resources and materials.


• Supervise and support construction staff, providing guidance and direction as needed.


• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve staff skills and productivity.


• Promote a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and communication.


• Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, inspection reports, and incident logs.

Requirements

• Preferred candidate should be within the age range of 25 - 35 years old.


• 2 - 5 years ofexperience in the construction, manufacturing, mining industry or related field.


• Good management and communication skills.


• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.


• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
