The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality of construction work at our mining site.
This role involves assigning tasks to staff, supervising their work to ensure it is completed according to plan, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and possess strong management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Supervise and oversee all construction activities on-site to ensure quality and adherence to plans and specifications.
Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and ensure that construction work meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
Address any issues or discrepancies in construction work promptly and effectively.
Assign tasks to construction staff and subcontractors, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to schedule.
Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Maintain an organized and efficient work environment by managing resources and materials.
Supervise and support construction staff, providing guidance and direction as needed.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve staff skills and productivity.
Promote a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership and communication.
Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, inspection reports, and incident logs.
Requirements
Preferred candidate should be within the age range of 25 - 35 years old.
2 - 5 years ofexperience in the construction, manufacturing, mining industry or related field.
Good management and communication skills.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
