Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Create and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and occupational health and safety standards.
Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Training and Awareness: Organize and deliver EHS training programs for employees to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
Incident Investigation: Investigate and report on accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
Environmental Stewardship: Promote and implement practices that reduce environmental impact and support sustainability initiatives.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on EHS performance metrics and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. (Recent graduates and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.)
Experience: Relevant experience in environmental health and safety or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with EHS management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
