Responsibilities



  • Develop and achieve sales volume and revenue targets as defined by regional sales goals.

  • Develop the business, report, evaluate, and build a sales funnel.

  • Build strategies to maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Attend and organize regular sensitization campaigns on all new products.

  • Ensure compliance with all sales practices, and prepare market/sales reports and recommendations.

  • Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and our innovative solar solutions.

  • Conduct thorough home and site assessments to determine the suitability and optimal placement of solar systems.

  • Develop and present detailed, customized solar proposals and solutions to clients.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technology advancements.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, prospecting, and sales options.

  • Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in solar sales.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience in sales of solar products, including inverters, UPS, and solar panels.

  • Strong understanding of solar technology, energy markets, and regulatory environments.

  • Good technical understanding of solar energy systems and components

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Proficient in using ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety will be an added advantage.
