Job Description



  • To supervise the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.


Responsibilities



  • Manage the recruitment and talent acquisition process for local hires using cost-effective sourcing methods and best practice recruitment methodology. Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

  • To own and drive the company competence management system, and all learning and development aspects of the people strategy.

  • Act as the key point of contact with all departments and project managers to drive corporate alignment of L&D activities.

  • Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.

  • Be responsible for driving the successful implementation of the annual employee performance appraisal exercise.

  • Assist the HR Manager with supervising the routine functions of the HR team.

  • Any other duties assigned from time to time.


Qualifications



  • HND / B-Degree HR / Business Administration or Similar, CIPM / HRCI / SHRM / CIPD.


Experience:



  • 9-10 Years postgraduate experience in a Human Resources generalist position.

  • Construction-related experience will be considered an advantage.


Competencies:



  • Ability to support the Head of department with driving leadership for the team.

  • Must be able to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR processes.

  • Able to design strategy for shaping organizational culture.

  • Oversees processes to protect the confidentiality of employee information.

  • Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to resolve any unexpected difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.

  • Should be able to lead collaboration with other HR staff to design, develop, and improve HR processes.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
