Responsibilities



  • Focuses on identifying and creating new business opportunities.

  • Explores potential partnerships and collaborations, to expand the customer base.

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and industry trends.

  • Analyzing competitors to understand their strengths and weaknesses and to identify gaps in the market that the company can exploit.

  • Collaborating with the legal and finance teams to ensure all deals comply with company policies and regulations.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of business development strategies.

  • Establishing, building and maintaining a strong relationship pipeline of prospective clients and existing clients.

  • Utilizing CRM software to manage client information, track interactions, and streamline the sales process.

  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and contract regular reports on business development activities and results for senior management.

  • Working closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and product development to ensure alignment and support in business development efforts.


Requirements



  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree can be added advantage.

  • Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or business development is crucial.

  • Experience in the industry(Construction) in which the company operates can provide valuable insights and connections.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating deals and building relationships.

  • Ability to analyze market trends, financial data, and business metrics to make informed decisions.

  • Strong sales acumen and the ability to negotiate favorable terms with clients.

  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for business growth.

  • Strong networking skills to identify and connect with potential clients and partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Understanding of financial principles and the ability to create budgets and financial projections.
