Description 

The individual will carry out: 

• Installation, inspection, diagnosis, testing, replacement, repair, and maintenance of building fixtures and fittings


• General plumbing, including:
  
  
  
  • Unblocking toilets and stacks
  
  
  • Installing new sinks, urinals, and toilets
  
  
  • Pipework (copper or PVC)
  
  
  
  


• General carpentry, including:
  
  
  
  • Hanging doors
  
  
  • Installing new locks
  
  
  • Architraves
  
  
  • Window frames
  
  
  • Boxing in
  
  
  • Assembling furniture
  
  
  • Easing and adjusting windows
  
  
  • Replacing handles and similar hardware
  
  
  
  


• General tiling (floors and walls)


• Flooring work (carpet tiles)


• General painting and decorating


• Basic electrical maintenance


• Day-to-day care and maintenance of gardens and hedging


• Regularly inspecting garden structures and undertaking minor repairs or advising Line Manager of need for replacement/rebuilding


• General garden carpentry (assembling and maintaining furniture, replacing handles and similar hardware)

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with a minimum of 3 years work experience.

Skill:

• Must be able to read and write


• Carry out basic calculations with measuring tape


• Physically fit


• Must have knowledge, equipment, and materials common to the environment; codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the role

Other requirements:

• Applicant must be Male.


• Reside within or close to Apapa.
