Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership and Management:



  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure the team meets its goals.

  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team.

  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

  • Conduct regular sales meetings to assess progress and address challenges.


Sales Strategy and Planning:



  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance lead generation efforts.

  • Forecast sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.


Customer Relationship Management:



  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure the sales team is addressing them effectively.

  • Handle high-level client interactions and negotiate major deals.

  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.


Sales Operations:



  • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure efficient processes are in place.

  • Implement CRM systems and ensure the sales team utilizes them effectively.

  • Manage sales budgets and expenses.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Market and Competitor Analysis:



  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.

  • Identify new markets and customer segments to expand the business.

  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on market insights.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 5years of experience and at least.3 years in a managerial role within plastic manufacturing or a related industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and trends to drive strategic decision-making.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
