Position Overview
- As a Strategy Analyst at this company, you will play a key role in supporting our strategic initiatives and shaping the future direction of our business. We are looking for a candidate who has a good background in strategy consulting, with at least 18 months of experience in a renowned consulting firm.
- You will work closely with the Corporate Strategy Manager to execute the firm’s 5-year corporate strategy by supporting the business analysis, in-depth market research, reporting deliverables of the strategy team.
Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Planning:
- Assist in analyzing market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives. Data Analysis and Insights:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems. Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and strategic moves.
- Use competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making and improve our competitive positioning.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects and initiatives.
- Take ownership of specific project tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.
Financial Analysis:
- Assist in financial modeling and forecasting to evaluate the financial viability of strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and potential M&A targets.
Presentation and Communication:
- Prepare clear and compelling presentations for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate complex ideas and analysis to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 18 months of experience as a Strategy Analyst in a Big 4 consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Basic proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas concisely.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
