Job Summary

• This role entails providing and administering anesthesia following approved guidelines and managing patients in the theatre.


• As an In-house Consultant Anesthesiologist, you will be a permanent, full-time member of our team and fully integrated into our operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver exceptional anesthesia care


• Develop and implement quality assurance programs


• Provide expert mentorship and education to junior staff


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care


• Stay up-to-date with latest medical advancements and technologies


• Manage departmental operations and resources effectively


• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making


• Ensure accurate and comprehensive medical records and reporting

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess MBBS qualifications with 5+ years experience.


• Must have a license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association


• Excellent knowledge of Clinical Surgery and other specialist areas of medical practice such as Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology


• Must show evidence of competence in management of anesthesia cases and evidence of active participation in relevant research


• Familiarity with cultural and religious concerns of patients, and current legislation on patient rights


• Must have good communication skills, a strong ability to work well under extreme pressure, self-discipline and excellent long-term concentration


• Must portray a caring and professional manner in all aspects of work
