Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities



  • Be in charge of site delivery, including schedule, quality, cost, risk and team management

  • Site design, Civil & Construction execution, and management

  • Subcontractors team management

  • Ensure deliverable quality, and project cost control.

  • Organize to finish the PAT and FAT

  • Leading and supervising the project group in achieving the project target.

  • Determine and define scope of deliverables and predict resources needed to complete the projects.

  • Ensuring all on-site workers adhere to the health and safety regulations

  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress

  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings

  • Handling any on-site accidents with uttermost care and awareness

  • Maintaining quality control procedures.

  • Conducting site inspections to ensure it is free from any safety hazards

  • Maintaining an accurate attendance report of all construction site workers

  • finding ways to prevent problems from happening and to solve any that crop up

  • Assessing and minimizing risk

  • liaising with the client, other construction professionals, and, sometimes, members of the public

  • Coordinating and supervising construction workers

  • making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety

  • writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork

  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites.

  • Manage construction schedule and activities Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines.

  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.

  • Determine needed (manpower, resources equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.

  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.

  • Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.

  • Supervise the work of laborers, engineers and give them guidance when needed.

  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

  • Review and make recommendations in relation to equipment

  • effectively and efficiently deliver projects and resource requirements to MERIT.

  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

  • Any other assignment from the management


Requirement



  • B.Tech Civil Engineering, telecoms experience will be an added advantage
