Job Summary
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a pipeline project.
- This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with all industry regulations.
- To effectively manage project to deliver set objectives
Job Details
- Establish project goals and milestones in alignment with client expectations and company objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
- Monitor project progress against the plan, adjusting as necessary to stay on track.
- Implement and maintain project controls, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Review of all documentation (bid document, contract, specifications, codes and standards, etc) to extract all relevant information and deliverables.
- Develop and obtain approved project objective’
- Develop and obtain approved project execution strategy
- Develop and obtain approved project execution plan (Engineering, Procurement & Construction)
- Prepare and obtain approved project budget.
- Outline and obtain approval for required resources of the project (material, personnel, equipment, etc)
- Coordinate preparation and submission of required documentations for client’s approval
- Implement project execution (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) in line with budget and schedule without compromising quality and HSE targets.
- Generate work scope for Sub-contractors and manage their activities in line with the Contract.
- Ensure submission of timely reports to Management as well as Client
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to control expenditures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in pipeline construction or the oil and gas industry.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
