The Superintendent Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical production, quality control, and regulatory compliance within the medical manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and NAFDAC.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, including NAFDAC, to secure and maintain necessary approvals.
Oversee the production of IV fluids to ensure compliance with pharmacological processes and regulatory guidelines.
Ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy.
Develop and implement quality control measures and procedures.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies for product registrations, licenses, and inspections.
Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Conduct training and ensure the competency of pharmacy staff.
Monitor and analyze pharmaceutical trends and developments
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Master's degree preferred) and registered as a pharmacist with relevant regulatory authorities.
Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
Thorough understanding of GMP, GDP, and other regulatory requirements.
