Job Description


We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team. As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.


Responsibilities



  • Acquire new merchants & manage existing merchant transactions (Drawdown & Repayment)

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers

  • Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support and Product to ensure a seamless user  experience

  • Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field is an added advantage

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role

  • Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems


Package Summary



  • Gross Salary: N146,243

  • Net Salary (After Statutory Deductions): ₦135,000

  • Miscellaneous Allowance: ₦60,000

  • Total Monthly Take Home: ₦195,000 (Payable as broken down)

  • * Commissions of 5% of the entire revenue generated within your portfolios, payable on overall performance monthly

  • Government Mandatory (10% Contribution by Company. 8% Contribution by Employee)
