Job Description:
Travel Sales Executive represent analyses customer behaviour to support client acquisition and retention through customer enquiries and feedback. Also introduce new clients to the business.
- Plan and sell airline tickets, accommodations, insurance and other travel service
- Ensure at least 30 booking tickets are done with travelstart through the GIGM website in a week
- Grow the customer base of Travelstart airline tickets through the GIGM website
- Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
- Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers
- Meet profit and sales targets on a monthly basis
- Book airline tickets, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees through GIGM’s payment platforms
- Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
- Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
- Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
- Enter data into our software and maintain client files
- Network with tour operators to retain and build customer base
- Maintain statistical and financial records for proper decision making
- Must have an existing client base to introduce to the business
Education and Work Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or HND in any relevant discipline
- Minimum of two (2) years of cognate experience in Customer Service.
