Gather and analyze book keeping and accounting information for internal use .
Prepare initial draft of accounting records of transactions as specified by generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP)
Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoice, statements, etc.
Reconcile processed work by verify entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Maintain historical records.
Pay employees by verify expense reports and preparing salary schedules.
Pay vendors by scheduling payment vouchers and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
Prepare analyses of account and produce monthly reports
Continuing to improve the payment process
Prepare profit and loss statements and assist the management in preparation of budgets, forecast, balance sheet, statement of cash flow.
Assist the in managing its investment portfolio.
Assume responsibility of accounting procedures.
Evaluate the company’s performance using key data.
Monitoring cash flow, especially during busy seasons when there is a higher risk of cash shortages.
Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making.
Conduct risk assessment and advice on ways to minimize risk.
Advise on problems and suggest improvement.
Supervise all lower-level personnel in the account department.
Any other duty as assigned by line manager.
Requirements and Skills
A degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or similar field
5 years’ experience from a similar position in an agricultural business or frozen food manufacturing business and other related manufacturing business.
Relevant professional certification is a plus e.g. CFA, CPA, CGMA, ACCA.
Solid understanding and experience in accounting principles.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
Adaptable to working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, striving for continuous improvement and optimization.
Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace).
