Responsibilities:

• Interpreting spoken Chinese during business meetings, conferences, and events.


• Translating written documents from Chinese to English and vice versa.


• Proofreading and editing translations.


• Researching specialized terminology and industry-specific concepts.


• Providing accurate translations of texts.


• Working with interpreters, linguists, and other professionals to ensure successful translations.


• Assisting the warehouse general manager in other duties and office management.

Requirements:

• HND/BSc in Translation, Interpreting or similar field


• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role


• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors


• Time-management skills


• Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus
