Experienced and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for intercontinental cuisine, African dishes, and coffee, with the ability to create delicious family buffet options.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute menus that showcase intercontinental flavors, African cuisine, and specialty coffee drinks
Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality dishes
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, budgeting, and safety protocols
Collaborate with the restaurant team to create a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service
Develop and implement new menu ideas, specials, and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader
Proven track record of creating innovative and delicious menus
Strong knowledge of intercontinental cuisine, African dishes, and specialty coffee drinks
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Food safety certification and knowledge of local health regulations.
