Job Summary:


The Operations and Logistics role requires overseeing logistics operations across the entire country, ensuring efficient inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and risk management.


Responsibilities:



  •  Develop and implement comprehensive logistics and operations strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.

  • Collaborate with senior management to align logistics activities with business goals and objectives

  • Oversee the entire logistics and supply chain operations including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to various locations across the country.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers

  • Supervise inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.

  • Implement effective warehousing strategies to maximize space utilization and ensure safety and security of stored products.

  • Coordinate and oversee transportation and haulage operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times


Job Requirements:



  • BSC/HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics and operations management within the FMCG sector, specifically in the cable and wire industry.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and risk management.

  • Proficiency in e-commerce and logistics software.
