Job Description

• To check data for accuracy, ensure proper billing for insurance settlement,


• To record information and keep file folders and electronic databases upToDate.


• To ensure patient care conforms with individual HMO/NHIS requirements/policies


• To obtain all necessary HMO approvals as required


• Ensure completion of all documentation for HMOs and the timely submission of bills


• To follow best practices in ensuring safety of patient confidentiality.


• Other duties as assigned by the manager


• HMO claim reconciliation


• HMO tariff review


• HMO onboarding


• Verification of all Insurance patients to avoid insurance claim denial.


• Getting of authorization for eligible patients to access care
