The Radiographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other radiographic procedures.
The successful candidate will ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires a thorough understanding of radiographic techniques, excellent patient care skills, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays, CT, MRI, and other radiographic equipment.
Ensure high-quality imaging by selecting appropriate technical factors and positioning patients correctly.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
Follow established protocols and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Maintain and operate radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Stay current with advancements in radiographic techniques and technology.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging, Medical radiation science or Technology.
Valid practicing license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiographer.
Proficiency in using radiographic equipment and imaging software.
Strong understanding of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and patient positioning.
Excellent patient care and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
