  • The cook is responsible to prepare food orders accurately and in a timely manner in a high volume paced kitchen and assist with the day to day running of the kitchen.

  • Ensure excellent customer experience  and helps ensure the kitchen remains clean ,organized and in compliance with sanitation requirements.

  • Prepare quality and sumptuous meal daily

  • Sample finish product to ensure standard taste.

  • Ensure quality of any outgoing Product

  • Meet the food sanitation and hygiene requirements in the kitchen.

  • Specialize in meal section and any product that has to do with rice

  • Ensure all the products in meal sections are produced at the right time and in the right quantity.

  • Closing stock at the end of every shift

  • Ensure a proper handover at the end of every shift.

  • Quality check for freshness of food ingredients

  • Working well under pressure with time limits


Requirements



  • 1-3 years of Working experiences as a cook or a similar role in the hospitality industry.

  • Sound understanding of Various delicacies

  • Good communication skills especially Verbal

  • Knowledge of food health and safety procedure

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Highly organized individual

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors

  • Professional Certificate as a food handler will be an added advantage
