Job Description



  • The Factory Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment within the production plant.

  • The role ensures that all electrical systems operate efficiently, effectively, and safely.

  • The Factory Electrical Engineer will work closely with the production team to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance production quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:



  • Design and develop electrical systems and machinery for the manufacturing process.

  • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for electrical components and systems.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and departments to integrate electrical designs with overall plant operations.

  • Optimize the performance and efficiency of electrical systems to support the plastic manufacturing processes.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to electrical systems and their integration into the manufacturing processes.


Maintenance & Troubleshooting:



  • Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems and machinery in the production plant, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including ACB/VCB, motors, and other industrial equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues with production machinery, implementing effective solutions promptly.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical components in production machinery.


Quality Assurance:



  • Ensure that all electrical systems and machinery meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical equipment.

  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address any electrical issues affecting product quality.


Health & Safety:




  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations specific to electrical systems in plastic production.




Qualifications

Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a

  • preference for experience in the plastics industry.


Technical Skills:



  • Understanding of electrical systems, including ACB/VCB operation and maintenance, as well as industrial equipment and hand tools.

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, control systems, and machinery used in plastic production (extrusion, injection molding, blow molding).

  • Knowledge of electric motors and their integration into plastic manufacturing equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in plastic production machinery.


Analytical Skills:



  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills specific to electrical systems in plastic production.

  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective electricalsolutions.

  • Proficiency in process optimization for electrical aspects of production.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
