Job Description

The Hub Associate (Lekki) will be responsible for coordinating shipment for deliveries, receiving and ingesting parcels, completing relevant documentation, and ensuring that the items are delivered successfully. You will be required to record and report hub related misdemeanours, escalate parcel issues and coordinate courier partners amongst other duties.

Suitable candidates must live within Lekki axis to be considered

Responsibilities

• Attending to walk-in merchants.


• Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments for deliveries


• Printing and assigning the correct waybill. (Every shipment has a special way bill number)


• Communicate with merchants, courier partners and internal teams to manage and  resolve billing and/or rate issues.


• Supervising assigned Dispatch Riders/Courier Partners


• Managing any issues or challenges that arise in day-to-day operations


• Planning and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments for deliveries


• Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs


• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers


• Monitoring and optimizing inventory levels


• Ensuring compliance with laid down procedures and processes


• Escalation of issues, if and when necessary.


• General reporting.
