  • We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development officer to join our team.

  • This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is eager to start a career in business development, with a focus on supporting our growth initiatives.

  • The BDO will assist the Senior Business Development Manager in the preparation of bids/ tenders, proposals through the various bidding/ tendering platforms.

  • He/She will be responsible also for the organizing and filing of the business development work templates, assist with building the company’s clientele and maintaining existing client relationships.

  • The successful candidate will be a proactive learner with a strong ability to adapt, good communication skills and a passion for the industry.


Responsibilities



  • Client Support: Help maintain and develop relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service and support.

  • Proposal Support: Assist in the preparation and presentation of proposals, business plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Tender Assistance: Provide support in preparing and submitting tenders through various platforms; NipeX while ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.

  • Developing Templates: Have the ability to develop templates and reports required for the business development team.

  • Networking: Support the team in representing the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to build the company’s brand and network with potential clients and partners.


Qualifications



  • HND, Bsc in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.

  • Internship experience or relevant coursework in business development, sales, or marketing is a plus.

  • Familiarity with NipeX, NIUMS, and tender processes is an advantage but not required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the business development, Oil and Gas field.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
