Job Description

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of nurses.


• Managing and supervising operational issues in the School Clinic.


• Responsible for performance and discipline among the nursing staff.


• Managing the duty roster and allocating the staff depending on the workload.


• Prompt incidence reporting and management of patients’ grievances.


• Ensure and monitor adherence to nursing policies and protocols by the staff.


• Accountable for the equipment used in the nursing and clinical care areas.


• Providing on-the-job training as and when variances are observed.


• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services.


• Helps in allocating Nursing personnel to various Nursing Services Departments.


• Keep records and reports of the Nursing Services.


• Supervise care given in various departments


• Guide and counsels nursing staff.


• Arrange orientation programmes for new nursing staff.


• Maintain discipline among nursing personnel
