Primary Responsibilities



  • Stock Audits: Conduct regular audits of stock uploads to ensure accuracy and completeness of the bookstore’s online inventory.


Marketing and Traffic Strategies



  • Social Media Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns and other marketing initiatives to promote the bookstore and its products.

  • Traffic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic and improve online visibility.

  • Competitor Analysis: Evaluate the websites of competitors to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • User Experience Enhancement: Identify and implement ways to enhance the user experience on the bookstore’s website.


Website Management



  • Catalog Management: Manage and maintain site catalogs, ensuring accurate and timely upload of product details.

  • Product Launches: Execute site updates to ensure error-free and timely product launches.

  • Product Descriptions: Write and edit engaging and accurate product descriptions to attract and inform customers.

  • Content Audits: Conduct regular content audits to eliminate redundant products and keep the website’s catalog up-to-date.


Sales and Customer Service



  • Sales Performance: Drive the sales performance of the website by optimizing product listings and promotional strategies.

  • Promotional Campaigns: Manage and execute promotional campaigns to boost sales and customer engagement.

  • Customer Insights: Provide insights on customer shopping trends to help inform marketing and sales strategies.

  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues.


Collaboration and Operations



  • Order Fulfillment: Work closely with the Inventory & Operations team to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.

  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with the bookstore’s brand strategy and meets organizational standards.


Technical Responsibilities



  • Website Updates: Regularly update HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to keep the website functional and up-to-date.

  • Front-End Accuracy: Review the front-end of the website for accuracy, ensuring a seamless start-to-finish process for customers.

  • User Experience Improvements: Continually improve the user experience of the website to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.


Analysis and Reporting



  • Metrics Analysis: Provide detailed analysis and reporting on key performance metrics to track the success of website initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

  • Traffic Growth Strategies: Create and implement strategies to grow web traffic metrics and achieve the bookstore’s online goals.
