Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Creative Videographer at Hyphn Resources Limited.
- The role will involve creating compelling visual content that aligns with clients' brand identities and marketing objectives.
- The Creative Videographer will collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts, plan and execute video shoots, and edit video content.
- Operate video cameras, both on location and in the studio, for the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
- Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting gear, for field and studio productions.
- Perform computer editing of video segments across various tape and digital formats.
- Complete trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assist in repairing and maintaining studio and production sets and properties.
- Maintain equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
- Analyze screenplays, characters, and story structures, collaborating with the director to decide on a visual approach.
- Conduct research on available locations, props, sun positions, and weather conditions at potential film sites.
- Select and source necessary equipment, tools, and crew members.
- Visit locations and take test shots to determine angles, filters, film stock, framing, equipment, lighting, and techniques for creating the desired atmosphere.
- Approve costumes, makeup, hair, colors, and textures used on set.
- Train crew members to operate new and modified equipment safely.
- Attend cast rehearsals, providing advice as needed.
- Collaborate with the post-production team to preserve desired effects and maintain the film's mood.
- Stay updated on advances in the film industry, attending workshops and training sessions when possible.
- Expand networks and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
Must-Have:
- Proficiency in using Black magic Cinema Camera 6K.
- Great/creative video editing skills.
- Ability to professionally operate any JDI Camera Drone.
- .Ability to drive will be a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and production team members.
- Knowledge of post-production techniques.
- Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for extended periods.
- Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting.
- Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on audio and video equipment.
- Effective time and schedule management skills.
- Record-keeping skills.
- Ability to configure, operate, and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting, and associated production equipment.
- Knowledge of computerized tape editing applications and procedures.
- Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
- Knowledge of football is advantageous.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience using professional recording equipment.
- Knowledge of video editing software, including Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, and After Effects.
- Animation design skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
