Itinerary Planning: Design and manage personalized itineraries for both corporate and leisure clients, ensuring attention to detail and meeting client needs.
Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving travel-related issues, and managing cancellations or changes.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to negotiate deals and ensure seamless travel experiences.
Promotional Sales: Use promotional techniques and materials to upsell travel packages, tours, and additional services to clients.
Complaint Handling: Handle unforeseen problems during travel, resolve issues, and assess eligibility for refunds or compensation.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of all travel bookings, client profiles, and financial documents.
Compliance: Ensure all travel arrangements adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as visa and immigration rules.
Essential Requirements:
Education: Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in a relevant field
Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Travel consultant with proven success in a similar role.
Knowledge of IATA customer portal and BSP settlement
Expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS), such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, is mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to use travel management software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure error-free ticketing and itinerary planning.
Ability to think quickly and resolve issues that arise during travel or booking.
Knowledge of travel promotions and sales techniques to upsell services and packages.
Capability to manage multiple bookings and clients simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
