- We are in need of a detailed oriented and diligent Account Assistant to assist in our account department.
- His or her responsibilities will include keeping financial records up-to-date, recording transactions, payments and expenses and processing invoices.
- To be successful as an Account Officer, you should have knowledge of basic accounting procedures, be open to learning and have strong communication skills.
Work Duties
- Maintaining financial records.
- Creating and processing invoices.
- Checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Sending bills and invoices to clients.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
- Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
- Handling queries related to accounts.
- Tracking organisation expenses.
- Processing refunds.
- Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments.
Qualifications and Background
- OND in Accounting.
- 1 - 2 years experience.
- Should have basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational skills.
- Good Accuracy skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
