What you will be doing


The job of the Risk Management & Internal Control Analyst at Quidax is to support the Risk & Internal Control Manager in;



  • Carrying out Risk and control self assessments across the entire Enterprise.

  • Ensuring the residual risk for each risk is maintained between our acceptable risk appetite.

  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk identification and assessment for emerging risks.

  • Development,maintenance and exercising of the various business continuity and disaster recovery plans and tests.

  • Developing and maintaining business impact analysis across the organisation.

  • Advising and ensuring implementation of risk control strategies, policies and processes to reduce risk.

  • Monitoring and testing the effectiveness of existing controls.

  • Maintaining and improving the incident response culture and management in the organisation.

  • Development and monitoring of key risk indicators across the enterprise


What your day-to-day looks like



  • Review and respond to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments within the company on Risk management and Internal Control related matters.

  • Assist in educating and improving staff awareness of the risk inherent in their processes and adequate controls to manage them.

  • Review and monitor all incident reports.

  • Proactively audit new and existing processes to identify gaps, offer a correction plan/provide solutions and then monitor for resolution.

  • Assist in Key risk indicator monitoring.


What you need to have



  • A bachelor's degree in finance, computer science or a related field.

  • Demonstrable experience in risk management, internal control, information security and compliance.

  • Working Knowledge of relevant financial system regulations.

  • Outstanding research, verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills


Nice To Haves



  • Experience in startups or crypto

  • Certifications in business continuity and Information security.
