Job Description



Our client owns a medical facility and needs a medical doctor to oversee the hospital's affairs.  You will be responsible for restoring the patient’s optimum health and performing health assessments, running diagnostic tests, prescribe medication, creating treatment plans and providing health and wellness advice to patients. You will also demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, especially in assessing and diagnosing patients, leading to the delivery of safe care for all patients and report to the Managing Director


Job Responsibility


Patient care



  • Providing excellent care to patients, with a focus on hospitality and comfort. This includes conducting thorough examinations and consultations, diagnosing and treating conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans. 


Collaboration



  • Working with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, and liaising with consultants regarding assessment and care. 


Documentation



  • Maintaining accurate medical records for patients, and providing documentation on health reports and discharge summaries. 


Education



  • Educating patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments. 


Training



  • Undergoing and completing training programs provided by healthcare organizations. 


Medical cover



  • Providing medical cover during hours of duty, and providing urgent medical attention and treatment to staff


Perform other duties assigned


Qualification/requirements



  • BSC/master's degree in Medicine from an accredited institution in Nigeria

  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience as a medical doctor or officer or in a similar role.

  • Valid medical license to practice as a medical practitioner

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.


Net Salary – N300,000, Plus free accommodation, Pension and other allowances
