- We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Communication Manager to lead the development and implementation of our marketing and communications strategies.
- This role will be integral to enhancing Afriprize's brand presence, driving customer engagement, and building strong public relations.
- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of branding, digital marketing, social media, and PR, with a proven track record of creating compelling campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Afriprize's goals and target audience.
- Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and experiential marketing.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
Branding and Communications:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Craft compelling brand messages and narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Develop and implement communication strategies, including press releases, newsletters, and other corporate communications.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow company’s social media presence across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging content that drives interaction, shares, and follows.
- Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, trends, and opportunities for engagement.
Public Relations and Media Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage press events, interviews, and other media-related activities.
- Monitor media coverage and report on the effectiveness of PR initiatives.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, social media, and public relations efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Manage the marketing budget and optimize spend to maximize ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience of a minimum of 6 years in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the e-commerce or gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and branding strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, social media management platforms).
