Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry/Purchase Officer with a passion for accuracy and a strong willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will handle data entry tasks related to purchasing while supporting procurement activities. This role is perfect for someone with an OND in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration who has some experience in a retail setting and is eager to grow within the company.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Accurately input and manage purchasing data in the system, ensuring all records are up to date.


• Assist with purchasing products, supplies, and materials required for daily operations.


• Help monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.


• Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.


• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies.


• Support the inspection of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality standards.


• Generate reports on purchasing activities and inventory levels as needed.


• Continuously develop your skills in data management and procurement, taking on more responsibilities as you grow in the role.

Requirements/Qualifications

• OND in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.


• At least 1 year in a retail setting with some experience in data entry or purchasing.


• Strong attention to detail, basic understanding of procurement processes, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), and a willingness to learn.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.


• Cooperative, with a strong desire to contribute to the team’s success.
