Our Client is a fashion house that specializes in designing and creating luxury custom dresses.


As Quality Control Supervisor, your role involves implementing stringent quality control measures and managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage the inventory of Company’s fashion products, including receiving, storing, and tracking stock levels.

  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory based on demand forecasts.

  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Negotiate shipping terms and rates with logistics partners and suppliers

  • Implement quality control checks to ensure products meet Company’s standards before they are shipped to customers.

  • Coordinate with the production team to address any quality issues in the inventory.

  • Work closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure seamless coordination across all stages of the supply chain.

  • Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures for Company’s fashion products.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the brand's quality standards and specifications.

  • Inspect incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet the required quality standards before they are used in production.

  • Monitor the production process to ensure that quality control measures are being followed at all stages.

  • Work closely with the production team to address any quality issues that arise during manufacturing.

  • Conduct tests on products to assess their durability, colorfastness, and overall performance.

  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improving product quality.

  • Evaluate and monitor the quality of products supplied by external vendors and manufacturers.

  • Provide feedback to suppliers on quality issues and work with them to implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with the customer service team to gather and analyze customer feedback on product quality.

  • Use customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in product quality.

  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and issues (defects, inconsistencies).

  • Prepare regular reports on quality control metrics and performance for management review.

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.


Person Specification



  • BSc/HND in Fashion & Clothing Design or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control and procurement in the fashion industry.

  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management software.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and great attention to details.
