About the job:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager who will oversee all aspects of human resources practices.
- The HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to senior management, fostering a positive work environment and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- The role includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, payroll management, and compliance with labor laws and regulation.
What you’ll do:
Recruitment and onboarding:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
Performance Management:
- Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Implement employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage employee benefit programs and address related queries, and also oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs,
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of payroll.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll.
HR Strategy and Planning:
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze trends to inform strategic planning.
Policy and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
What we seek:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Human Resource Management
- Strong knowledge of labor law and regulations
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong people-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR (e.g. CIPM, PHR) is a plus.
