Job Summary:



  • Our client, a leading Manufacturing company is seeking for a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our organization in Kano.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staff, equipment, and budget.

  • Monitor and control operational costs to stay within budget.

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Utilize data and metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics and KPIs.

  • Communicate operational updates and issues to senior management.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent service delivery.

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.


Requirements:



  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field

  • 5 years of proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

  • Experience budgeting and forecasting

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Leadership ability

  • Outstanding organizational skills
