The Quality Officer must always align the company’s quality control function with best standards at all times that will make the company adhere to contract specifications.
Responsibilities
Representative sampling and quality measurement of goods on arrival from the supplier’s store i.e moisture, sand and stones, admixtures, damaged and broken, immature, green seeds (for Soya bean).
Representative sampling and quality measurement of goods on arrival from the supplier’s store i.e moisture, green grain, red grain, average length, crackness and discoloured grain (for Paddy).
Proper and timely reporting of all inspection results based on acceptance and rejection criteria.
Visual inspection to detect adulterations like Clusters, Foreign Matters & foreign odour.
Quality analysis testing and documentation for stock evacuation.
Producing statistical feedbacks on quality deviations and reporting to the Head of Unit arising quality standard issues.
Adherence to quality parameters for accepting vendors’ supplies.
Collaboration with warehouse officer for good warehouse practice and inventory control.
Maintain professional relationship with collaborators that will aid in delivering planned strategy.
To Manage the quality loss for SAA key crops within the budgeted parameters.
Ensure data integrity of all analytics and report.
Requirements
Minimum of a university degree, with second class (upper division).
Minimum of 4 years’ experience, preferably in commodity business and has held Quality roles to variously commodities such as Soya bean, Paddy etc.
Age: 28 - 38
